Guus Hoeben

Business Development at Phact B.V.

Guus Hoeben has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Guus started their career with internships at Philips and NXP Semiconductors in 1997. Later, they joined VSN Systemen BV as an Agile Coach and Team Lead for software development, where they were responsible for developing mobile and server applications for customers in the VOIP telephony industry.

In 2008, Guus became the owner of GeefEenReis, an online virtual gift shop for honeymoon couples, where they managed payment systems and provided online services. Guus held this role until December 2019.

In 2015, Guus joined Phact B.V. as a Business Development professional, and in November 2015, they took on the additional role of Agile Coach and Team Lead for software development. During their time at Phact, they led the development of mobile and server applications for customers in the VOIP telephony industry, with a focus on Android, iOS, and Windows Phone platforms. Guus also had a keen interest in Big Data and Analytics.

In 2019, Guus joined Dorel Juvenile as an IoT consultant and software developer, where they played a crucial role in aligning software development with stakeholder requirements for a consumer IoT product. The product was successfully launched in February 2020.

Guus Hoeben completed their VWO/Atheneum at Bouwens van der Boije College from 1988 to 1994. Guus then attended Fontys Venlo University of Applied Sciences from 1994 to 1998, where they successfully completed their degree in Telecommunicatie. In addition, Guus Hoeben holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance. The specific date of when they obtained this certification is not provided.
