Daniel Castillo

Daniel Castillo is an experienced professional in the field of microbiology and technical operations, currently serving as the Head of Technical Operations, Head of Manufacturing, Science & Technology (MSAT), and Principal Scientist at PhageLab since October 2021. Prior to this role, Daniel was an Assistant Professor at the University of Copenhagen from April 2018 to October 2021 and a Postdoctoral researcher at the same institution from December 2012 to October 2017. Daniel's academic journey began with a Doctorate in Microbiology from Universidad de Santiago de Chile, completed in 2012, and a degree in Biochemistry from the same university, achieved in 2008. Daniel also gained valuable experience as a doctoral student in microbiology at INTA from March 2008 to October 2012.
