Gregory Weiss

Gregory Weiss has extensive work experience in academia and biotechnology. Gregory started their career in 1998 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Genentech. In 2000, they joined UC Irvine as a Professor, where they have been working since. In 2013, they co-founded PhageTech, Inc. and also serves on its Board of Directors. Most recently, in 2019, they co-founded Debut Biotechnology.

Gregory Weiss completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley from 1988 to 1992. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued higher education at Harvard University from 1992 to 1997, obtaining a Ph.D. in Chemistry, specifically in the field of Chemistry, Chemical Biology.
