Ed Melick currently serves as the Director of Business Development & Responsible AI at the Center for Applied AI, focusing on government and private sector partnerships, ethical teaching on AI, and overseeing a deepfake detection project. As a Contributing Fellow and Co-Lead for the Media & Technology Group at AI and Faith, Ed promotes ethical practices in AI design and governance, particularly addressing misinformation. Ed has a consulting role at RadLink, providing various business development and project management services, and also offers sales and business development consultancy for UMBC Training Centers and Quickcode.ai. Previous experience includes leading a software quality assurance testing team at Kyron Learning, publishing authored works through Grace Machines LLC, and co-hosting a radio program for Grace in 30. Ed's educational background includes degrees in Design Fundamentals, Communications & Networks, and certifications related to information security, complemented by a dual degree in Economics and Psychology from Towson University.
