Johan Land is the Director at Phantom Auto. Prior to that, they were the Chief Product Officer at TomTom for 1 year and the Chief Product Officer at Kobalt Music for 2 years. Johan was also the Head of Offboard Product Management - Google Self Driving Cars (aka Waymo) for 2 years. At Waymo, they were responsible for leading the commercialization, including go-to-market and launch strategy, strategic partnerships, user interfaces/onboarding, mobile app across iOS and Android, growth strategy and execution, pricing and promotions, operations and internal tools, customer support and problem resolution, fleet management, mapping/territory expansion. Johan launched "Waymo One" - the first publicly available self-driving ride hailing service. Johan was also the Product Lead for Brand Ads at YouTube for 2 years where they were responsible for building and managing Product Management team responsible for the brand advertising product portfolio, inventory strategy, and user experience of ads. Johan also identified new opportunity areas in strengthening existing products as well as tapping into a whole new market. Johan launched a new short-form video product (>$Xbn run rate, fastest growing product at Youtube ever), as well as a new value-optimized long-form video product ( >$XXXm, breaking into previously untapped market).

Johan Land attended Harvard Business School, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). Johan also spent time as an exchange student at Ecole polytechnique, where they studied computer science. Land earned a Master of Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in physics and mathematics. Johan also has a Master of Science from Stockholm School of Economics in finance and business.
