Nicolas Cruz has held a variety of positions in the software engineering and web development fields since 2011. Nicolas began their career as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at Rochester Community Schools in 2011. In 2013, they became the Managing Design Editor at The Michigan Daily. In 2014, they worked as a Simulation Developer at The Human-automation Interaction and Cognition Lab. In 2015, they were an Android App Development Team Intern at NTVB Media, as well as a Senior Web Developer and Summer Online Editor at The Michigan Daily. In 2016, they worked as a Web Developer at Kellogg Eye Center (University of Michigan) and a Software Engineer, Android at Yello.co. In 2018, they were a Software Engineer, Android at Verily Life Sciences. In 2019, they became a Software Engineer, Android at Airbnb. Most recently, they are a Software Engineer at Phantom, a position they have held since 2021.
Nicolas Cruz attended Stoney Creek High School from 2008 to 2012. Afterwards, they went on to pursue a B.S.E. in Computer Science at the University of Michigan College of Engineering from 2012 to 2016.
