Anthony Velasquez has a strong background in 340B Program management and operations. Anthony started their career at Esperanza Health Center as a Dispensary Manager/340B Operations manager, where they oversaw dispensing operations, pharmacy contracts, financial analysis, and program compliance. Anthony then worked at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals as a 340B Program Financial & Compliance Manager and later as a 340B Financial & Compliance Analyst. In these roles, they focused on financial management and compliance of the program. Anthony then joined Mercy Health System of Southeastern Pennsylvania as a 340B Program Manager, where they were responsible for program compliance across multiple entities and strategic initiatives. Currently, they are working at PharmaForce as the Chief Product Officer, leading the strategic product vision for the company and managing four client-facing applications that process millions of records daily.
Anthony Velasquez has a strong educational background in healthcare administration and management. Anthony obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Widener University, which they pursued from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Penn State University, which they completed between 2009 and 2012.
In addition to their formal education, Anthony Velasquez has also obtained several certifications. In September 2019, they became a 340B Apexus Certified Expert through Apexus LLC. Anthony also completed a Pragmatic Marketing certification from Pragmatic Institute in May 2019. Furthermore, in July 2013, they completed the 340B University OnDemand program through Apexus, 340B Prime Vendor.
