Andrew Gibb

Andrew Gibb is a Principal Scientist at Pharmaron, leveraging extensive experience as a process development chemist. They specialize in route design, analysis, and the demonstration of scaling up multi-kilogram steps in pilot plants, supporting clinical programs up to phase IIb. Andrew has delivered active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) within tight deadlines for crucial therapeutic areas including hepatitis C, HIV, antibiotics, and oncology. Previously, Andrew held roles at MSD, where they developed multi-step synthetic routes for Alzheimer's and other treatments, while also excelling in operational hazard evaluations and tech transfer processes. They earned a Master’s Degree in Chemistry with industrial experience from The University of Edinburgh.
