Chris Mitchell has over 30 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Chris started their career as a Pharmaceutical Technician at Ciba-Geigy, where they were involved in process development and technical support to production. Chris then worked at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust as a Preregistration Pharmacist before joining MSD. At MSD, they held various roles including Clinical Manufacturing Manager, Formulation Scientist, and part of the Early Development Centre and Decommissioning Team. Chris also worked at GSK as a Principal Scientist before their current position as a Principal Scientist at Pharmaron. Chris has expertise in clinical manufacturing, formulation development, technology transfer, and quality assurance.
Chris Mitchell attended the University of Sunderland from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Pharmacy. Prior to that, they attended the Weald School in Billingshurst, West Sussex, from 1977 to 1984. No degree or field of study information was provided for their time at the Weald School.
