David Kaelin

David Kaelin has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. David started their career as a Graduate Student at the University of Texas at Austin, where they conducted research in a synthetic organic chemistry laboratory. After completing their graduate studies, they joined Merck, where they held various roles, including Principal Scientist-Medicinal Chemistry, Research Fellow-Medicinal Chemistry, and Senior Research Chemist-Medicinal Chemistry. In these positions, they worked on small molecule synthesis, collaborated with internal and external chemists, and traveled regularly to partner sites. David then joined WuXi AppTec as a Technical Sales Executive and later as a Senior Account Executive. Following that, they worked at Acceledev Chemical Llc as a Director of Research and Development, where they designed and implemented synthetic organic chemistry routes and supervised laboratory operations. Most recently, they have been with Pharmaron, first as a Director of Business Development and currently as a Senior Director of Business Development.
