Emily Jones

Emily Jones is a Scientist II at Pharmaron, having progressed from Scientist I and an Industrial Placement Student in Analytical Chemistry. During time at Pharmaron, Emily successfully executed a first-class MChem research project focused on 19F qNMR, resulting in enhanced quantification techniques for fluorinated active pharmaceutical ingredients. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Science Editor at Nouse, where engaging scientific articles were written and edited for a general audience, and as an intern at Peak Proteins, acquiring practical knowledge in protein biochemistry. Additional roles include School Community Coordinator at the University of York, enhancing student engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Front Desk Receptionist at Life Leisure, where communication skills were developed while assisting the public. Emily holds an MChem degree in Natural Sciences with a specialization in Chemistry from the University of York.
