Ismael Hidalgo

Ismael Hidalgo is a Drug Absorption and Disposition Investigator with extensive experience in membrane transporters and BCS. They served as a Senior Research Investigator at GlaxoSmithKline from 1990 to 1992 and as a Senior Investigator at SmithKline Beecham from 1993 to 1996, where they provided ADME support for drug discovery scientists. Currently, Ismael is the co-founder and Chief Scientist at Absorption Systems, a position they have held since 1997. They earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Southern California and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at The University of Kansas.
