Jeremy Scott

Dr. Jeremy Scott is Vice President of Process Chemistry. He joined Pharmaron in October 2016 with 15 years experience in CMC drug development. Dr. Scott is based at Pharmaron’s Hoddesdon UK site. Dr. Scott was previously Director at MSD leading chemical development teams through complex route definition, development and multikilogram delivery for dozens of APIs. Dr. Scott has also led matrix teams through definition of API phase and attributes for both fit for purpose and commercial oral solid dosage form development contributing to omarigliptin (Marizev™), relebactam, niraparib (Zejula™) and elbasvir/grazoprevir (Zepatier™), the latter resulting in a Key Innovator award.

Dr. Scott obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge and post-doctoral training at University of California, Irvine. He is author of over 50 publications and book chapters, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, member of the ACS and PRINCE2 qualified.
