Michael Walker

Michael Walker is an experienced professional in the field of mass spectrometry and protein analysis, currently serving as Associate Director at Pharmaron since January 2023. Prior to this role, Michael functioned as a Technical Expert for LC-MS protein analysis at Intertek from June 2018 to January 2023, overseeing method development, data review, and client communications. Michael's previous experience includes serving as Lead Scientist for mass spectrometry at Lonza, where responsibilities included the analysis of biotherapeutics and study design for regulatory compliance, and as a Research Associate at the University of Manchester, specializing in quantitative proteomics. Michael earned a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds, focused on protein identification in Drosophila, and previously obtained a degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Durham University.
