Nishant Singh, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of Cell and Gene Therapy. Nishant currently holds the position of Senior Scientist II and Study Director at Pharmaron, where they are involved in various immunoassay projects related to CGT. This includes working on NAb assay, cell-based assays, potency assay, and Flow cytometry, with an emphasis on AAV and transduction in different cell types. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Pharmaron for a year. Earlier in their career, they served as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from 2019 to 2021. Before that, they were a Postdoc research Fellow at Cleveland State University Ohio from 2015 to 2018 and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Tel Aviv University from 2013 to 2015. Nishant completed their Ph.D. at Jawaharlal Nehru University from 2007 to 2012.
Nishant Singh, PhD has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Cell and Molecular Parasitology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi India, which was obtained between 2006 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Himachal Pradesh University, which was obtained between 2003 and 2005. In addition to their academic degrees, Nishant Singh also holds a PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) from Nalsar University, Hyderabad, India, obtained in 2008. Nishant is also a qualified "A" certificate holder in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, achieved in 1992.
