Peter Mullens

Peter Mullens is a Principal Scientist in Process Chemistry at Pharmaron, where they focus on process development and support for pharmaceutical clinical candidates. Previously, they worked at Merck Sharp and Dohme in various roles, including Staff Chemist and Senior Scientist, contributing to process research and facilities decommissioning. Peter holds an MSci in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, where they graduated with first class honors. They possess extensive experience in chemistries and scales, having successfully developed and scaled up over 50 unique batches across therapeutic areas like Diabetes, Hepatitis C, HIV, and Oncology. Additionally, Peter is an expert in using the Emerson DeltaV process control system and has a keen interest in technology applications in both lab and pilot scale environments.
