Pinwen Cai is currently a Senior Research Chemist at Pharmaron, having been appointed in 2025. Previously, they served as a Group Lead at HitGen Inc. from 2016 to 2020. Pinwen completed a PhD in chemical biology at the University of Basel from 2020 to 2024, following a Master’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University between 2013 and 2016. They also hold a Bachelor's degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Jiangnan University, earned from 2009 to 2013.
