Sherida Johnson

Sherida Johnson, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Business Development at Pharmaron, having progressed through roles including Associate Director and Business Development Manager since April 2021. Prior experience includes positions as Chemistry Manager and Project Manager at BioScreen Testing Services from October 2016 to April 2021, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing laboratory and administrative activities. Prior to that, Sherida held roles as Visiting Research Scientist and Staff Scientist at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University from 2012 to 2018, focusing on laboratory setup and project leadership. Sherida began a scientific career at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute from June 2004 to February 2011, contributing to medicinal chemistry projects aimed at developing small molecule inhibitors. Educational credentials include a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University at Albany and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina-Columbia.
