Thomas Zabawa

Thomas Zabawa is a seasoned professional in chemistry and business development operations, currently serving as the Director of Business Development Operations at Pharmaron. They previously held roles as Principal Scientist at Spero Therapeutics, where they led Discovery Chemistry in novel antibiotic programs, and as Project Manager at Athenex. Thomas’s experience includes positions as Investigator III at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Northwestern University, where they advanced their expertise in synthetic chemistry and mentoring. They earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University at Buffalo and a BS in Chemistry from Canisius University.
