Yinglin Han

SVP, Process Chemistry at Pharmaron

Dr. Yinglin Han is Senior Vice President of Process Chemistry. He joined Pharmaron in March 2010 as Executive Director of Process Development and GMP Synthesis. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Han worked as Senior Process Chemist for more than 11 years at four US biotech companies, including FibroGen, Enanta Pharmaceuticals, ArQule and Advanced ChemTech.

Dr. Han worked at Nanjing University of Technology as Assistant Professor and Institute Head (1990-1993), Associate Professor and Department Head (1993-1995), and full Professor and Dean (1995-1996). His research areas were process development and chemical engineering. He was the recipient of several National or Provincial awards and recognitions. Dr. Han has authored or co-authored over 40 publications, review articles, patents and pending applications.

Dr. Han obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. (1989) degrees in organic chemistry from Nanjing University under the supervision of Professor Hongwen Hu. He had further training at Professor Victor Hruby’s group at the University of Arizona as a Visiting Professor and at Professor Michael Chorev’s lab at Harvard Medical School, Harvard University, as a Research Fellow. His research projects varied from synthetic methodology development, asymmetric synthesis to peptide-mimetics. He received a B.S. in chemistry from Sichuan University in 1984.
