Zhenhua Zhou

VP, Head of Quality, CMC at Pharmaron

Dr. Zhenhua (Danny) Zhou is Vice President, Head of Quality, CMC. He joined Pharmaron in October 2017 and brings 23 years of experience in pharmaceutical GMP and regulatory operations. Before joining Pharmaron, Dr. Zhou held the position of Site Head of Center of Innovation at Zevacor Pharma Inc. in New Jersey, US. He established the Center of Innovation in 2013. He managed drug product manufactures for preclinical, phase I/II/III clinical trials, as well as prepared for a commercial product launch. In less than 5 years, he quintupled the staff for the Center of Innovation and turned the Center of Innovation from the least profitable to most profitable business unit within the company’s 16 sites.

Prior to Zevacor, Dr. Zhou worked in TEVA, Mylan, Schering-Plough, Merck and Wuxi Pharma with increasing managerial responsibilities, from Principal Scientist to Senior Director. He contributed to over 50 drug products approval globally.

Dr. Zhou received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan, followed by three years post-doctoral training at Institute of Armand-Frappier in Canada. He authored/co-authored 27 publications in academia research.
