Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson is a seasoned director and elected official, currently serving as a Councillor for the Town of Aurora since 2010. They held various leadership roles in community committees, including Chair of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee and Vice-Chair of the Joint Council Committee for Central York Fire Services. Michael also worked at Pharmasave Drugs (East), advancing from Territory Manager to Senior Director of Business and Retail Development. They are pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in History & Classical Civilization at Carleton University, along with a Certificate in Financial Management from Dalhousie University and a program in Museum Management and Curatorship from Fleming College.
