Dr. Thorsten Fallisch is a seasoned professional in procurement and operational management within the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Global R&D Procurement at Die Grünenthal Gruppe since 2019. With prior roles including Associate Director of Procurement Strategy & Governance, Senior Manager at EY leading international teams in mergers and acquisitions, and Project Manager at Kienbaum managing diverse international projects, Dr. Fallisch possesses extensive experience in procurement optimization and corporate strategy development. Additional contributions include serving on the Advisory Board of PharmaSource to support procurement professionals and a background in leading global procurement operations at profine GmbH. Dr. Fallisch holds a PhD in Chemistry/Bioinformatics and a Diploma in Chemistry from the University of Cologne.
