Matthew Tanner

Matthew Tanner is an experienced microbiologist with a robust background in quality control and microbiological analysis. Currently serving as the QC Microbiologist Leader at Pharmavite since November 2016, Tanner has progressed through various roles including Microbiologist II. Prior experience includes a position at Celmark International, where microbiological monitoring of dietary supplements and cosmetics was a key responsibility, along with the release of products based on microbial and chemistry assessments. Earlier in the career, Tanner worked as a Microbiology Specialist at Silver Springs Citrus, focusing on the testing of citrus products for microorganisms, and as a QC Lab Technician, performing analyses using wet chemistry. Tanner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of West Florida and a Health Science diploma from Apopka High School.
