Sam Chien is a seasoned food scientist with extensive experience in product development and formulation. Currently serving as a Senior Formulator at Pharmavite since October 2023, Sam previously worked at SunRidge Farms from July 2019 to September 2023 as an R&D Technologist, focusing on confections and ingredient substitution, as well as new product development and technical support. Prior roles include Food Technologist at Wei Chuan USA Inc. (February 2017 - June 2019), where Sam specialized in Asian cuisine and frozen entrees, and Laboratory Technician at The Wendy's Company (April 2016 - October 2016), focusing on sample preparation and texture profile analysis. Sam holds a Master’s Degree in Food Science and Technology from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from National Chung Hsing University.
