Sarah Kidd is a Principal Scientist at PharmEnable. Sarah has a PhD in Structural Biology from the University of Leeds. Sarah has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Leeds, where they were responsible for the identification and optimisation of novel small molecule inhibitors of an RNA helicase. Sarah also has experience in cloning, construct design, recombinant protein expression, protein crystallisation and structure determination, which enabled their to lead a fragment screening campaign. In addition, Sarah has worked as a visiting student at Diamond Light Source, where they conducted X-ray based fragment screening campaigns against a number of targets using 3-D fragment libraries. Sarah also has experience working as an EpiNova DPU Industrial Placement Student at GSK.
Sarah Kidd's educational career began at Hall Cross Academy, where they studied chemistry. Sarah then went on to study organic chemistry at the University of Leeds, where they earned their master's degree. Finally, they earned their doctorate in organic chemistry from the University of Cambridge.
