Michael Segal

Michael Segal joined PharmScript as Chief Executive Officer in 2011, bringing more than 16 years of experience working with healthcare professionals and patients. As CEO of PharmScript, Michael leads the organization in its relentless commitment to providing its clients with pharmaceutical excellence. Throughout his career, Michael has demonstrated a keen focus on patient safety and quality care. As a registered pharmacist, Michael understands the important role of pharmacy within long-term care acute settings.

During Michael’s tenure as CEO, PharmScript has demonstrated exemplary client satisfaction, patient safety, and business growth. Through Michael’s leadership, PharmScript has become known within the industry as a partner-of-choice to a range of healthcare facilities, including skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, addiction, psychiatric hospitals, and group homes, among others. Michael has built an organization that adheres to a true partner-first mindset, powered by an experienced, responsive team. Through Michael’s guidance, PharmScript today is a partner to more than 400 healthcare facilities across the country.

Prior to joining PharmScript, Michael was an executive with several distinguished long-term care pharmaceutical companies. Michael is actively involved in a variety of healthcare and community causes and has served on numerous charitable boards and organizations throughout his career.

Michael holds a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy. He is a registered pharmacist in New York and New Jersey.
