Hester van Bommel

Hester van Bommel is currently a Senior Project Leader and Advisor at Pharos, focusing on Person-Centered Care and Support. With a background as a physiotherapist and intervention worker, Hester has specialized in enhancing health communication and inclusive research practices to ensure equitable healthcare access for diverse populations. Hester is also a PhD candidate at Radboudumc, conducting research on the effectiveness of person-centered approaches for patients with chronic conditions and low socioeconomic status. Previously, Hester worked as a physiotherapist at Ziekenhuis St. Antonius Kleve and in other healthcare settings from 1997 to 2003, and as a prevention intervention worker at GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond from 2003 to 2006.
