Prathima Thomas

Prathima Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Prathima started their career at Traverse Technologies as a Junior Developer from May 2001 to October 2001. Prathima then moved on to EDS, where they worked as an IT Support from September 2004 to June 2006. Prathima then joined Pharos Systems International as a Junior Tester in July 2006, focusing on projects such as Uniprint and iMFP. Prathima later became the Software QA Team Lead in July 2009, managing and co-ordinating system regression tests. From July 2013 to March 2019, Prathima served as a Senior QA Analyst, working on a cloud-based solution called MPS - Beacon. In this role, they gained experience in scripting selenium webdriver C# for validating the web client layer of the application and C# for the service API layer. Currently, they hold the position of Software Development Team Lead at Pharos Systems International, starting in April 2019.

Prathima Thomas completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Science from Bharathiar University, which they attended from 1996 to 2000. In 2003, they pursued further education at the Computer Power Institute, earning an advanced certificate in Object Oriented Programming in the field of Information Technology, which they completed in 2004.

Additionally, Prathima holds several certifications. In 2007, they obtained the Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification from ANZTB. In 2016, they became an ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Test Automation (ICP-ATA), certified by ICAgile. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance.
