Ken is passionate about technology innovation and impactful businesses. He has 25 years of experience advising leading entrepreneurs and investing in emerging technology and digital media companies. He has worked with the leading venture capital and growth equity funds in the US and Europe and has completed strategic transactions with a range of Global 1000 companies.

Ken has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, refinancings, and principal investments.

Ken leads Pharus’ practice areas in digital services, education technology, digital media, and sports & broadcast technology, and he also has relevant experience across multiple sectors, BPO, enterprise software, industrial technology, consumer products, energy, and aerospace/defense.

Ken also is the Managing Partner of Pharus Investment Partners, LLC, PHARUS’ early stage investment fund, and he has served on several boards, including Motus Global, SocialGuide, Firsthand, Supermetrics, Ascension Ventures and Verto Analytics.

Prior to founding PHARUS in 2001, Ken assisted in starting CDG Group, a restructuring and M&A advisory firm. Previously, Ken was a Managing Director and founding member of The Chart Group, L.P., an international merchant banking advisory and private eq

uity firm. He began his career in Ernst & Young’s M&A and restructuring advisory practice and helped build E&Y’s corporate finance practice in Eastern Europe.

Ken graduated with a B.S. from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and earned an M.A. in Comparative European Studies from the University of Sussex.

A lifelong soccer player, coach and enthusiast, Ken lives in Lower Manhattan with his wife and their two sons.
