About Phase01 Crowd Safety Services

Phase01 is an independent practice specialising in system-level review of high-density crowd and pedestrian environments, including major programmes, passenger hubs and complex public spaces.

The work focuses on independent assessment of capacity claims, modelling logic, design assumptions and system performance under peak and constrained conditions. Engagement typically takes place prior to key approval decisions, at major programme milestones and before operational exposure.

The approach is evidence-based and grounded in recognised crowd science principles and international practice. Reviews include structured evaluation of crowd system concepts, modelling outputs and governance frameworks to assess whether systems remain robust under high-density conditions.

Where required, crowd flow analysis and modelling are undertaken as analytical tools to test capacity, movement and evacuation performance in complex environments.

Phase01 is led by Eric Kant, with experience across large-scale programmes and high-density environments in Europe and the Middle East.
