Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. Chris began working in 1999 as a New Media Sales Representative for Athens Banner-Herald. In 2000, they joined Morris DigitalWorks as a Senior Content Engineer, where they wrote a Perl-based CMS and instituted the use of version control with CVS. Chris was promoted to Technical Team Lead and then Senior Engineer I, where they modified a log file analysis program and updated several internally developed programs. In 2008, they were promoted to Principal Engineer, where they implemented management of legacy content and designed version control workflow and repository layout. In 2010, they joined Phase2 as Vice President of Engineering, then Director of Engineering, and finally Senior Web Developer, where they did Drupal-focused work on high traffic and high profile client sites.

Chris Johnson attended The University of Georgia from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
