James Hembree has a long and varied work experience. James began their career in 1999 as the Director of Client Services for NetStrategies. In 2003, they moved to Results Direct as a Senior Project Manager. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools. James then worked as a Teacher for New Hanover County Schools from 2008 to 2015. In 2015, they became a Project Manager for InterCoastal Net Designs. James was a Project Manager for BlueTone Media from 2018 to 2021, and is currently a Project Manager for Phase2.
James Hembree obtained a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University between 2005 and 2008. James also earned a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from George Mason University between 1991 and 1994. Additionally, they have a Project Management certification from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
