Kris Buchanan has a diverse work experience beginning in 1996 with Technology Driven Products, where they served as Vice President of Engineering. In 1998, they became Owner of Phase Two Engineering, where they developed a patented cell-orienting nozzle for a flow cytometry application. In 1999, they joined Cytomation, Inc. as an Engineering Manager and was directly involved in product concepts, development, and architecture. In 2002, they became R&D Director at Dako. From 2007 to 2009, they were R&D Director at Beckman Coulter. Since 2009, they have been Chief Executive Officer of Phase Three Product Development. In 2022, they are expected to become Chief Executive Officer of RedDrop Dx.
Kris Buchanan attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 1977 to 1982, earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Kris subsequently took electrical engineering and business courses at Colorado State University, and took Computer Information Systems courses at Regis University.
