Mansoor Ali

Mansoor Ali is an accomplished SCADA Designer in Substation Automation at Phasor Engineering Inc since February 2024. Previously, Mansoor served as a Remote Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, focusing on the digital twin design for power cyber-physical systems from October 2020 to August 2021. Mansoor also worked as a Research Fellow at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from August 2017 to October 2020, where responsibilities included designing a fuzzy logic-based supervisory control for renewable energy resources and developing a neural network for load forecasting. Currently, Mansoor is a Visiting Assistant Professor and Senior Research Engineer at the Resilient Machine Learning Institute (ReMI) at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal, concentrating on threat classification in underwater communication systems. Mansoor holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences and a Master’s degree in the same field from CECOS University of Information Technology and Emerging Sciences.
