Chief Human Resources Officer at Primary Health Care, Inc (PHC)

Sherry Gomis has extensive experience in human resources, having held various roles in different organizations. From 1991 to 1994, they worked as the Manager of Special Services at United Federal Savings. Sherry then joined Sears, Roebuck and Co. as a Human Resource Manager, where they managed a large customer contact call center and led cross-functional project teams. In 2004, they joined Wells Fargo Bank as a Human Resources Consultant, providing consultation to senior business leaders on organizational effectiveness, employee development, and management practices. In 2010, they became the Human Resource Director at Urbandale Health Care Center, overseeing all human resource functions for a nursing home facility. Finally, in 2011, they joined Primary Health Care, Inc. (PHC), initially as an HR Director and later as the Chief Human Resources Officer, responsible for strategic and operational management of the organization's human resources.

Sherry Gomis obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with majors in Labor Relations and Marketing from the University of Iowa, where they studied from 1973 to 1977. Additionally, they obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in June 2015 and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute in 1999.
