Andrew Marcum

Andrew Marcum is a seasoned Machine Learning Solutions Architect at phData since November 2025, specializing in building AI/ML solutions that drive significant business impact. Prior to this, Andrew Marcum spent a decade at ArcBest Technologies in various roles, including Senior Machine Learning Engineer, where a production-grade GenAI freight quoting system was developed. As a Machine Vision Research Engineer, Andrew Marcum led the creation of a patent-pending forklift-mounted dimensioning system and achieved NTEP Certification. Andrew Marcum also pioneered ArcBest’s Cognitive Engagement department as a Machine Learning Engineering Manager and built innovative machine learning pipelines as an Engineer. Andrew Marcum began a career in technology in 2010, obtaining a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from Arkansas Tech University and initially serving as a Lab Instructor and Business Intelligence Analyst.
