Brian McDevitt is an experienced technology professional with significant expertise in machine learning engineering and software architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning Engineering at phData since June 2017, Brian has held multiple leadership roles including Principal Solutions Architect and Sr. Solution Architect. Prior to this, Brian worked as a Software Engineer at The Nerdery from August 2014 to June 2017, and held various positions at Cargill from April 2008 to August 2014, including Senior IT Technical Analyst. Brian began the career as a Software Developer and Software Quality Assurance Analyst at Data Recognition Corporation from December 2003 to April 2008. Academically, Brian holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Saint John's University.
