Chris Coovrey

Chris Coovrey is a Machine Learning Architect at phData since 2022, bringing extensive experience in machine learning and data science. Previously, Chris held roles at Cerebri AI from 2017 to 2022, where responsibilities included architecture and development of end-to-end machine learning pipelines for diverse companies across the US, Canada, and Latin America. Prior to that, Chris served as a Data Scientist and Lead Engineer at Zync Up, focusing on machine learning models for student engagement, and as a Senior Quantitative Developer at SunGard, leading engineering efforts for energy trading pricing and risk analytics. Earlier roles include Vice President of Quantitative Trading & Structuring at Element Markets, specializing in carbon credit trading and emissions credit structuring. Chris holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
