Ella C.

Ella C. is a Senior Data Engineer at phData, Inc., with extensive experience in data migration within Hadoop/Spark environments, utilizing tools such as Sqoop, Impala, Hive, Bash, Python, Maven, and Scala. Ella has successfully migrated transactional data from SAP HANA to HDFS and Kudu since joining the company in May 2017. Prior to this role, Ella served as a Mathematics Tutor and Graduate Assistant at the University of St. Thomas, providing guidance on Math concepts and setting up a database environment for Health Analytics. Additional experience includes work as a Software Test Engineer at Shenzhen firstmile communications, where test designs for telecommunication devices were created, and as a Lecturer at Hubei Engineering Institute, teaching Advanced Mathematics to large undergraduate classes. Ella holds a Master’s Degree in Data Science from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Shaanxi Normal University.
