John Thomason

John Thomason is a Senior Data Engineer at phData since August 2021, previously holding the position of Data Engineer. Prior to that, John worked at General Dynamics from May 2014 to August 2021 as a High Performance Computing Software Engineer and intern. John's experience includes developing Python scripts, creating Docker containers, porting applications, and implementing Kubernetes architectures. John's earlier roles encompass a range of positions from a writing fellow at the University of Minnesota to various leadership and intern roles across different organizations, specializing in customer retention and marketing analysis. John holds a Master's degree in Data Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of St. Thomas and the University of Minnesota, along with additional certifications in Big Data and a comprehensive academic background in business and marketing education.
