Amy Sawdey

Amy Sawdey possesses extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as a Higher Education Access Partner at PHEAA since July 2020. Previously, Amy worked as a Financial Aid Specialist and Freshman Seminar Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, where responsibilities included advising students on financial aid matters and facilitating their transition to college. Earlier roles included various positions at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, ranging from Board Member to Test Proctor, and administrative roles in admissions. Additionally, Amy has a strong foundation in student support and engagement developed through roles such as Resident Assistant and Event Coordinator at The College at Brockport State University of New York. Amy holds a Master's degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a Communication Minor from SUNY Brockport.
