Jonathan Haas

Jonathan Haas has extensive work experience in the areas of risk management, compliance, and external audits. Jonathan currently serves as the Director of External Audits at PHEAA, where they oversee and manages the department responsible for coordinating audits and examinations conducted by external parties. Prior to this role, Jonathan worked as a Senior Risk and Regulatory Affairs Solutions Specialist, where they directly interacted with regulatory entities to ensure compliance with legislation and regulation. Jonathan also served as a Risk, Policy, and Compliance Coordinator at PHEAA.

Before joining PHEAA, Jonathan was a Certified Legal Intern at the Widener University School of Law Harrisburg Civil Law Clinic, where they provided legal services to indigent clients. Jonathan handled various legal concerns, drafted legal documents, and represented clients in matters such as divorce, bankruptcy, consumer protection, estate planning, and unemployment compensation.

Jonathan Haas completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from York College of Pennsylvania in 2011. Jonathan then went on to obtain their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2014.
