Tim Olsen

Tim Olsen is an experienced technology professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Manager Solution Architects at PHEAA since October 2013, Tim has held various key roles including Solutions Architect, Application Integration Architect, and Web Architect. Tim’s previous experience includes 24 years at Direct Brands as Director of Enterprise Architecture, where responsibilities encompassed the design of new systems and maintenance of high-level coding skills in languages such as Visual Basic .Net, Cobol, and Unix scripting, as well as significant expertise in database design and tuning with DB2 and Oracle. Tim began the career as a Programmer at Prudential Insurance, developing applications using COBOL, SAS, and REXX. Tim holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Penn State University.
