Alan Phelps

Alan Phelps has an extensive work experience in the security industry. Alan started their career in 1996 at Phelps Security, Inc, where they held various roles such as Account Representative, Private Investigator, Director of Operations and Business Development, and Director of Training and Security Officer Development. During their time at Phelps Security, Alan focused on providing high-quality training to security officers and ensuring client satisfaction. Alan also gained experience in law enforcement and investigation while working as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff at Shelby County Sheriff's Office and Bartlett Police Department. Alan's work history demonstrates their expertise in security operations, business development, and law enforcement.

Alan Phelps has a diverse education history. Alan started their educational journey at Germantown High School from 1996 to 1999. Following their high school education, they attended The University of Memphis from 1999 to 2006. At the University of Memphis, they obtained a Bachelor of Liberal Studies with a focus on Criminal Justice and Communication.

In addition to their university degree, Alan Phelps also attended the Shelby County Sheriff's Office Law Enforcement Recruit School from 2004 to 2005. There, they earned the Tennessee Post Certificated Law Enforcement Officer degree with a specialization in Law Enforcement.

Furthermore, Alan Phelps has obtained additional certifications from various institutions. In December 2009, they received a certification as a (Law Enforcement) Handgun and Shotgun Firearms Instructor from the National Rifle Association. Additionally, in February 2008, they became a CPR, First Aid, & AED Instructor certified by the American Red Cross.
