Clay Phipps has extensive experience in aviation, serving in various capacities across multiple companies. Beginning as a Line Pilot at Business Aviation Solutions, LLC from October 2011 to April 2014, Clay then advanced to General Manager and Captain at FalconAir from November 2014 to January 2019, managing corporate charters and aeromedical retrievals. Following that, Clay held the position of Captain and FOQA Fleet Manager for Global Express 7500 at Phenix Jet for a brief period in 2025 and transitioned to Lead Captain and Captain of G650ER, also managing FOQA responsibilities. Earlier experience includes a role as Line Charter Pilot at Barrier Aviation and serving as First Officer for G650ER at TAG Aviation. Clay earned a Bachelor of Applied Science from Queensland University of Technology and also holds an Advanced Diploma in Flight Instruction from Basair Aviation College.
