Lloyd Smith

Lloyd Smith currently serves as the Deputy Group General Counsel at Phenna Group since December 2023, where the organization focuses on testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services globally. Prior to this role, Lloyd held partnership positions at Geldards LLP and Knights plc from September 2022 to September 2022 and October 2020 to September 2022, respectively. Lloyd's extensive background in commercial litigation includes significant experience at Teacher Stern LLP and DLA Piper, where responsibilities involved various forms of dispute resolution across multiple sectors. Lloyd began a legal career as a trainee solicitor at Pitts Tucker & Co and subsequently worked at Drydens Lawyers, specializing in high-value banking and financial litigation. Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Nottingham Law School and a BA in Joint Honours Classics & English from the University of Nottingham.
