Dirk Hansen

Dirk Hansen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in market research and development within the chromatography industry. At Phenomenex since September 1997, Dirk has held various roles including Senior Market Research Analyst, Market Development Manager for Europe, and General Manager, contributing to the integration and management of subsidiary operations in Italy. As a Senior Product Specialist in HPLC, Dirk supported the German sales team with technical expertise and collaborated with product specialists in the US and UK. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Laboratory Scientist at Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg, where Dirk conducted HPLC analytics for medical studies. Dirk earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Heidelberg University between 1984 and 1995.
