Pascal Birman has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, they serve as the Chief Medical Officer at Pherecydes Pharma since October 2021. Prior to this role, Pascal was the Deputy CMO at GENFIT from January 2018 to March 2021. Pascal also held various positions at Ipsen, including VP of Clinical Development Programs Global from 2013 to 2017, VP of Therapeutic Area New Opportunities from 2011 to 2013, Senior Director of Medical Development Endocrinology from 2008 to 2011, and Global Project Leader of Endocrinology from 2004 to 2008. Before joining Ipsen, Pascal worked at Servier and SERVIER RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT LIMITED, where they held the positions of Director of International Clinical Operations Europe-Asia from 2001 to 2004 and Director of Therapeutic Research (ICTR UK) from 1995 to 2001 respectively.
Pascal Birman completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Médecine from Pierre and Marie Curie University. Pascal pursued this degree from the years 1975 to 1981.
