Julia Aqeel

Julia Aqeel is a sophomore at The University of Georgia, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in English and Psychology. Currently serving as a newsroom reporter at The Red & Black Publishing Co., Julia collaborates with a team to produce articles and press releases that promote campus events and issues. As Co President of Special Pops Tennis, Julia assists individuals with special needs in learning tennis and fostering teamwork. Previous experience includes a legal internship at the Law Office of Maher A. Fakhouri, where Julia drafted legal documents and observed court proceedings. Julia also holds positions as the Director of Recruitment and a founding member of Phi Delta Phi, a legal society, a member of Undergraduates at Law, Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority, and the Undergraduate English Association, actively engaging in various initiatives that promote inclusivity, legal education, and community support.
